Summit’s EverClear 812 (120Vac) and 822 (208-277Vac) 8 watt/foot economy self-regulating heating cables are much like Summit’s S1 and S2 cables but are lower output and at a more affordable price. They are comprised of two parallel nickel-coated bus wires in a cross-linked polymer core, a tinned copper braid and a polyolefin outer jacket.
The remarkable technology of EverClear heating cables enables them to automatically adjust their power output to compensate for temperature variations and eliminate any worry about overheating and can be overlapped.
EverClear heating cables are a safe and efficient means to deliver heat to create a melt path in zig-zag exposed applications.
Since the cables automatically adjust their power output to compensate for temperature variations, they can also be safely installed in gutters and downspouts made from standard materials.
EverClear heating cables can also be cut-to-length during installation which offers added flexibility to handle any unexpected changes at the jobsite.
